Kuchipudi is one of the eight major Indian classical dances. It originates from a village named Kuchipudi in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Kuchipudi is a dance-drama performance, with its roots in the ancient Hindu Sanskrit text of Natya Shastra.
Guru Kubherini is the artistic director of Sri Venkatesa Kuchipudi Academy (Kubi's Kuchupudi).
Trained under a Kuchipudi legend, late Guru Padmashri Dr.Sobha Naidu and Vidhwan Jeelan Basha, Kubherini has carved a niche for herself in the Triangle region for her dance as an artist, a teacher, a choreographer and a director.

Known to be gifted with a soft heart and kind and generous nature, Guru Kubherini leads students on their journey to discover and experience the graceful movements, intricate footwork, complicated rhythmic patterns, beautiful facial expressions and the rapid tempo of Kuchipudi.
